International Parking Group (IPG) became Australia’s leading provider
of carparking development and operating management at major public
hospitals. At the time of exit, IPG held eight hospital car parks
under long-term lease/licences issued by various health service
authorities. The car parks were located on public hospital sites where
the relevant state government and health authorities had committed
and/or spent substantial sums of money on strategic redevelopments. In
addition, a number of sites were co-located private hospitals.
IPG was sold to the consortium led by James Fielding in February 2003.
