Landis+Gyr (formerly Bayard) was established by Cameron O’Reilly and a number of foundation investors in 2002.   Since then, Landis+Gyr has emerged as a substantial industrial business focused on environmentally friendly and ‘green’ industry segments. Through a highly targeted acquisition strategy, Landis+Gyr has built an energy measurement business which is now a global market leader in electricity meters and has a strong position in the rapidly growing advanced or smart metering market. To date, Landis+Gyr Holdings has successfully completed a number of acquisitions in the sector including Landis & Gyr, Hunt Technologies, Enermet and Cellnet.
